I bought this for my husband's birthday and I am so excited to gift it to him. It looks stunning and so elegant but the main selling point for me was the ability to preserve an opened bottle of wine. My husband loves his wine and for a long while he was drinking every night of the week so for health reasons I have tried to encourage him to limit his wine intake to only the weekends. He did do this, albeit with some resistance, but he appears to be slipping back into his old habits and sometimes opens a bottle half way through the weekend or even on the Sunday evening so inevitably continues to drink it into the week because "it goes off" - I don't drink so have always seen this as just an excuse to extend his drinking days. I only recently took the time to research his excuse and found that there may be more truth to it than I thought so I bought the eto wine decanter to counter his reasoning. I am hoping this really does preserve the flavour so that he is happy to wait until the following weekend to finish the wine! So here's to hoping it's engineered as beautifully as it looks.

Bought as a gift for my son in law’s 50th and he loved it. Poured in his best red wine and off he went! Usually wastes some as he doesn’t drink it in one session but it’s well looked after now.
